I am looking for meal ideas – your favorites, please?

My mom NEVER cooks, and it gets really old. So I'll make a menu so we can buy food from the list and we hope to start having dinner – not actual meal throw something in the oven and to call it dinner. I hope to make enough for 4-5 weeks of different meals. So please tell me what you call your meal, you need to do, how you fix it, and what you eat with him. Thank you!

Homemade baked macaroni and cheese to serve with any meat or fish. This is the basic recipe but I allways throw in another couple types of cheese and make it more tacky. Ingredients * 8 oz elbow macaroni 2 cups shredded * sharp Cheddar cheese * 1 / 2 cup grated Parmesan cheese * 3 cups buttermilk * 1 / 4 cup * 2 1 / 2 c. tablespoons all-purpose flour * 2 tablespoons butter * Bread crumbs 1 / 2 cup * 1 pinch of paprika Directions 1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain. 2. In a saucepan, Melt butter or margarine over medium heat. Stir in enough flour to make a roux. Add milk slowly to Roux, stirring constantly. Stir in cheese and cook over low heat until cheese is melted and sauce is slightly thick. Put macaroni in large casserole dish and pour the sauce over the pasta. Mix well. 3. Melt butter or margarine in a skillet over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and brown. Spread over the macaroni and cheese to cover. Sprinkle with a little paprika. 4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Serve.
